Dream Catcher Mission

The Dream Catcher Foundation’s mission is to provide a comprehensive therapeutic program to address the behavioral, emotional and educational needs of foster youth. It is also our mission to reunite every foster youth with their biological family or a foster family to promote permanency in their lives. The Dream Catcher Foundation’s staff as well as its Board of Directors, are committed and dedicated to ensure that every foster youth receive the necessary services and resources that will help them transition successfully into adulthood and make their dreams a reality in their lives.

For nineteen years United Care, Inc. operated three six bed group homes in South Los Angeles that serviced the needs of eighteen teenage girls.

Effective January 1, 2009 United Care divested its group home program to The Dream Catcher Foundation (TDCF) who continues to operate the eighteen bed group home program in south Los Angeles. The Dream Catcher Foundation's mission is to provide a comprehensive therapeutic program to address the behavioral, emotional and educational needs of foster youth. It is also our mission to reunite every foster youth with their biological family or a foster family to promote permanency in their lives. The Dream Catcher Foundation's staff as well as its Board of Directors, are committed and dedicated to ensure that every foster youth receive the necessary services and resources that will help them transition successfully into adulthood and make their dreams a reality in their lives.

United Care remains committed to supporting the teenage girls placed in TDCF’s group homes and works closely with TDCF whenever possible.
